Role of our team
Xedis assisted Electrabel (GDF Suez) with its Energy Trading and Risk Management System (ETRM) Program from 2007 until 2011. The ETRM program aimed at improving the integration and data quality throughout the several critical solutions in the Trading and Portfolio Management department (TPM). It consisted out of five projects and encompassed many business process adjustments and IT solutions replacements.
In these projects our team of consultants took on a variety of responsibilities. They assumed the roles of:

Results
The program resulted in the delivery of a new Trading System to the customer. This new system is now managed as a Program (several projects, management of change, realizing the benefits) and keeps tight track of the business goals. Key factors for the success were the Business Change Management process, the internal and external communication, the satisfaction rate among the adopters and the transparency and measurability of all parameters.
